races:pAST & UPCOMING
In case you are feeling adventurous or need some motivation for yourself, come on down to one of my upcoming races. Bring a cooler, a book/magazine and let's have some fun.
Here you will also find my most recent races and times. Transparency in race times will be the hardest obstacle in posting, but I believe seeing the improvement in oneself and in others is empowering and insightful.

Steamboat Olympic Triathlon
12 august 2018
One of my dearest and fellow triathlon competing friend and I decided, we wanted to do a shorter triathlon together before the Santa Cruz 70.3 in September. I had heard nothing but raving reviews of this race and how beautiful it is in Steamboat. Not to mention I had been craving a race for some birthday fun and a birthday get-away trip. This should be an absolutely breath-taking race and purely joyful time with Alex. I am beyond words to explain how excited I am for this race.

Morro Bay Triathlon
05 November 2017
First Olympic Triathlon. With all the ailments and loss of training, I am happy to have at least crossed the finish line. My times were not the most ideal, but I couldn't be happier to have crossed the finish line.

SANTA CRUZ IRONMAN 70.3
09 SEPTEMBER 2018
Oh dear, what was I thinking... I have signed up for my first Ironman 70.3 for Sept. 2018. According to coaches and those around me I have plenty of time to train for this race, but I am crazy nervous. But very excited to cross off another dream of mine, completing a half Iron.

Slacker Half Marathon
23 june 2018
First half marathon of the year and a first half marathon ever for me. Unfortunately, this race left me with a broken foot and the end of my triathlon/racing season. Initially had started with a great pace, beautiful day, and not even a mile in, I rolled my ankle to find out I actually suffered a Jones Fracture, with displacement.
Finish Time: 03:31:00
Tri for the cure
06 august 2018
For my 3rd annual year, I will be competing in the Tri for the Cure. This year I have recruited my mother to embark on the amazing journey of triathlon and race her first triathlon. I would like to better my time in this race, but most likely will be with my mom during every step of the race. I look forward to this amazing race again and all the wonderful and inspiring women who show up every year.

Rock 'n' roll 10k
15 october 2017
First 10k of my racing career. I signed up for this race to get an idea of how long the 10k would take me and help gauge my total times for my upcoming triathlon. I found out my broken toe was not nearly as healed as I thought it was and was in quite a bit of discomfort. Broken toe and all I still made sure I finished the race.
Finish Time: 01:19:04
